Current CT scanners are build for diagnostic purposes and are not fully equipped with all the features needed for an intervention. The iCT design concept is build around the needs of a doctor during an intervention. Design constraints include protection from ionising radiation, gantry height and ergonomics, patient access and the need for an improved interface for adjusting imaging parameters. In addition we put a lot of though in the perception of the patient. The project has been done in collaboration with Lisa Jeroschewski
